Q: How do I locate the Singapore Prime Minister's National Day Rally speeches from 1965 to 2001?

The National Day Rally speech has only been published in hard copy since 1992.
These are held at Level 11 at the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library. For early
speeches, you are recommended to go through back issues of the Straits Times
during the days immediately after the speech was given. The Straits Times is
kept on microfilm and can be accessed on Level 11, Lee Kong Chian Reference Library.
Please approach staff at the Information Counter if you need assistance.
Viewing of the microfilm is free, however, printing charges apply.
Q: What is the rate of growth of fingernails and what is in it?

Nails are produced by living skin cells in the fingers and toes.
They are composed primarily of keratin, a hardened protein also
found in skin and hair. The growth rate of nails varies with digit,
age, environmental temperature and season, time of day, nutritional
status, and other factors. In general, nails grow at a rate of 0.1mm
per day. Fingernails grow up to four times faster than toenails.
